About
Our Philosophy
Our special day is like drinking a good bottle of wine. You won't necessarily remember all of the details, but you will remember how you felt. Great photographs can let you relive those emotions, just like the label of a good wine reminds you how you felt after your first sip.
At Uncorked Studios, we believe the pictures of your special event are more than just paper and ink or digital files on a disk. They are emotions frozen in time. Whether it's the joy of experiencing your first dance as husband and wife or the empowerment of boudoir photos, we cherish the idea of capturing the memories of your event.
The emotions of your event are not only revealed in the large, overt actions, but also in the details. From the private glances between a bride and groom, to highlighting the elegance and simplicity of decorations, we strive to capture the uniqueness of your special occasion.
At Uncorked Studios, we believe establishing an individual and candid relationship with our clients is critical. This relationship lets us produce unique, spontaneous, and elegant images capturing the true and honest emotions of your day while reducing the natural stress caused by your event.
We are honored that you would consider and trust us with capturing the events and emotions of your special event. So let's crack open the "bubbley," soak in the day, and, most importantly, "Let's Celebrate."
About Jen
With over 600 professionally published photos and 7 years of experience, Jen Stitt has taken photos across North America. From the coldest glaciers in Alaska to the turquoise beaches of Bermuda, Jen focuses on delivering unique, inspiring, and creative photos to her customers.
Starting her career at 17 she worked for The Times Record, located in Brunswick, Maine, as a field photographer where she had over 500 published photos with many of them being republished in the newspaper's photo editorial editions.
Perfecting her skills at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Jen honed her photojournalistic style while perfecting her studio skills. Also while at RIT, Jen learned the importance of doing "whatever it takes" to deliver the perfect image. Often seen laying on the ground or hanging off of a ladder, Jen yearns for her customer's reaction when they see their photos for the first time.
Dedicated to the concept that images are not just pictures but rather frozen emotions in time, Jen strives for capturing the emotion and joy in each customer's event.
About US
Travis and Jen met in 2006 and have been a force to reckon with ever since. Married in 2009, this duo has a flair for photography and loves to capture every moment.
When they are not working for Uncorked Studios, they can be found volunteering together at The Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ as volunteer divers. They also enjoy a variety of other activities, including (but not limited to) remodeling their house, eating ice cream, walking the dog, being victorious at Victory Brewing Pub, hanging with family and friends, and bowling.
About Travis
Travis discovered his passion of photography when in middle school when he started taking pictures of his sister's softball team to pass the time during weekends. However, Travis really enjoys integrating the newest technology into the studio's work flows and photography bringing his customers the highest quality images possible.
Graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and holding a Masters of Engineering in Software Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, Travis thrives on expanding the technologic al expertise of the studio. While attending RIT, Travis was able to train under some of the most talented up-and-coming photographers in the northeast, enhancing both his artistic and technical understanding of photography.
Not to be completely consumed with technology, Travis believes creating a memorable experience for every customer is equally as important as the images which the customer takes home.
